This is an opportunity to take a critical look at Operations for our loved brands, Joe Fresh and Shoppers Drug Mart as well as our newer online exclusive Marketplace. We are looking for operational transformation that will drive efficiencies and provide a fantastic experience for our customers. The successful candidate will lead the fulfillment strategy for these businesses as well as oversee operational planning and execution. We are excited to make changes that will drive short-term and mid-term improvements as well as building a plan for future growth!
What you'll do
Deep dive the operations of each business to understand the current models, what is working and where we can improve both the business and customer core metrics
Build partnerships with The General Managers (GMs) of each business (Joe Fresh, Shoppers Drug Mart & Marketplace) aligning on objectives, priorities, strategic direction.
Focuses on customer experience and financial objectives, understanding the problems to be solved and develop a strategy that aligns to our business goals.
Focus on data, solving problems, make decisions or recommendations by analyzing and actioning data insights.
Provide input into product roadmap for enhanced features that will deliver on improved customer satisfaction and/or financial improvements.
Collaborates with the GMs and finance during annual budgeting, financial modeling or other ad hoc financial reporting.
Owns and manages 3PL relationships, setting expectations, challenging for improvements and holding them accountable to deliver against KPIs.
Oversee the day-to-day operations and periodic financial estimating, giving your team members clear goals and responsibilities.
Define operational milestones and OKRs. Generate innovative approaches for achieving results and successfully navigating multiple, sometimes competing interests
Coaches and mentors their team.

You are passionate about ecommerce and love operations!
10+ years of work experience in retail/ecommerce operations; some supply chain, 3PL, DC operational experience is an asset
Experience in high volume, fast moving consumer facing industries
Strong strategic thinking skills and proven ability to apply industry best practices
Strong knowledge of operational technology
Comfort with both risk and ambiguity. Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach
Operational rigor combined with excellent business acumen, problem solving, project management, analytical skills, and negotiation skills
You can easily build relationships and have been part of large, cross functional teams that are working to solve complex problems
