Location: 160 Avenue Road, Toronto, ON (Blyth Academy Head Office)

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Admissions, International Programs, the Admissions Administrator will help to drive sales of Blyth International Summers and Community Service programs for the 2020 season. The Admissions Administrator will work closely with the Admissions and Operations teams.

Blyth Academy offers students, grades 5-12, a comprehensive full-time program, as well as part-time, private, semi-private, night & weekend, summer school, and online courses. In addition, Blyth Academy offers an International Summers program and Global High School where courses are taught in truly inspirational places around the world.

We have developed a strategy for incorporating literacy and numeracy across the curriculum in an effort to support the provincial mandate to improve student achievement in these essential skills. We incorporate research and evidence-based inquiry and decision making approaches in the classroom that will support students’ success in both of these critical areas.

Position Description
Inbound and outbound calls to cold and warm leads; provide information and guidance to prospective students and their families; direct inquiries and escalated concerns as required
Monitoring of the Admissions’ email account; provide information and guidance to prospective students and their families; direct inquiries and escalated concerns as required
Data entry, management of database (Salesforce & Excel)
Provide support at off-site travel program events, as required
Administrative support for shipping event materials, sending event reminders, and following up with staff and attendees

Requirements

Minimum College Diploma, ideally in a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in administration, preferably in the education sector.
Customer service or sales experience would be an asset.
Strong proficiency in MS Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Excellent customer service skills; outstanding telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication in English
Confident communication and active listening skills are critical
Results driven with strong customer focused mindset
Highly organized and efficient
Adaptable to shifting priorities
Sound judgment and ability to problem solve
