Litigation Law Clerk

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Law Clerk to join our talented team of staff in our Mortgage Enforcement Unit within our Creditors’ Rights department.
Responsibilities Include:
· Drafting pleadings, including Statements of Claim, Judgments, and Motions;
· Drafting and preparing general correspondence;
· Drafting accounts;
· Other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Law Clerk in the mortgage enforcement area is preferred;
- Experience in residential real estate transactions is an asset;
- College Diploma/University Degree in a relevant field;
- Exceptional computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office);
- The ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision;
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines;
- Strong work ethic;
- Reliable, with an excellent attendance history;
- Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
A satisfactory criminal records check will be required from the selected candidate as a condition of employment.
