General Accountabilities:
Our organization is currently seeking positive, outgoing, team-oriented individuals to fill the positions of heavy equipment operators for our projects at Syncrude Basemine and Aurora.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Safely operate heavy equipment as required- May be required to operate one or more of the following: Combo Truck, Haul truck, Dozer, Front-end Loader, Grader, Excavator, Shovel
- Adhere to all company safety policies and standards
- Complete required paperwork as required
Job Type and Compensation:
- Full Time
- $39.72 - $45.50/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime
Education & Experience:
Grade 12 or equivalent- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in mining environment
- CSO
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
- Strategic thinking
- Effective communication
- Conflict resolution skills
- Able to work shift work, including nights
