Both of these OEM's carry a very high quality reputation in the marketplace, and we are looking for a parts / service lead to uphold that, and grow with us as a dealership! This position is available to start immediately.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and proactive Parts and Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in managing parts inventory, coordinating service activities, and ensuring seamless communication between departments and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership operations, and customer service, with a basic level of equipment knowledge. The position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a new dealership, with plenty of opportunity to grow. Hours will be 8:00 - 5:00 Mon-Friday, with the occasional Saturday morning during the spring and summer seasons.
Duties
- Manage parts inventory levels using dealership software, and maintain appropriate levels of stock inventory.
- Maintain a high level of communication with the customer, sales department, and technicians, for seamless transactions.
- Accasionally source and purchase parts, supplies, utilzing aftermarket alternatives
- Assist with data entry related to inventory and service work orders.
- Support the service department by scheduling repairs, tracking work orders, and ensuring timely completion of service tasks.
- Co-ordinate mobile "on the road" repairs between technician and the customer
- Utilize basic mechanical knowledge to assist customers as well as sourcing parts for products that Cornerstone offers.
- Operate forklifts as needed for warehouse organization or parts movement.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies during all operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability, order status, or service scheduling.
Qualifications
- Previous parts department dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with a previous equipment dealership service department is highly preferred
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams and Outlook efficiently
- Ability to operate forklifts or similar material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors, technicians, and customers.
- Strong abilty to think and work independently
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. - Compensation:
● $70,000 - $90,000 annually
