Would you like to be part of a team, removing Snow and Ice while keeping our clients safe? As a member of the ON CALL Snow and Ice Management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of Snow Service clients. Together, with a team of hard-working, passionate individuals you will be supported by a Foreperson to train and develop your skills.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Snow and Ice Management Foreperson in managing safety, quality and productivity of work at sites
- Snow and Ice Management duties include application of de-icer and salt, shoveling sidewalks, stairs, pathways and driveways
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain Snow and Ice Management Equipment and keep the vehicle, shop or yard clean at all times
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Snow and Ice Management services an asset
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Ability to follow safe and working procedures
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Speak, read, and write English
- Valid drivers license an asset
Salary information: Up to $35.00 per hour
