Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques and proper safety protocols
- Monitor patient responses during and after treatments, adjusting techniques as necessary
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications for optimal health outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including infection control protocols
Experience
- Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings is highly preferred
- Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic health practices
- Certification as a Registered Acupuncturist from an accredited licensing board is required
- Experience working with diverse patient populations is a plus
