Skills and Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies (6Rs), networking, security, and FinOps, and will play a key role in driving cloud transformation initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and GCP environments.
- Lead cloud architecture design, ensuring scalability, performance, resilience, and security.
- Execute and support cloud migration initiatives using 6Rs strategies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Repurchase, Retire, Retain).
- Build and manage core cloud services including:
- Compute (VMs, containers, Kubernetes)
- Storage (blob/object storage, disks, file systems) Networking (VPC/VNet, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, peering)
- Identity & Access Management Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including:
- Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)Identity and access controls
- Data protection and compliance frameworks
- Drive FinOps practices, including cost optimization, budgeting, and usage monitoring.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, and security teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.
- Automate provisioning and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and reliability using cloud-native and third-party tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to best practices.
- Required Qualifications bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- good years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least good years in cloud environments.
