Our client, a leader in shipping and receiving , is hiring for a Midnight Dispatch Coordinator Coordinator to join their team in Woodstock Ontario.
Pay Rate: $21.83/hr to start
Shift: Monday - Friday 11pm - 7:30am
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service support in a transportation environment.
- Investigate and solve daily delivery, inventory, equipment, employees and customers issues.
- Sequence and plan daily routing and all related activities, determine daily workloads and allocate drivers accordingly.
- Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance service on equipment on a regular basis.
- Prepare manifests and delivery trip log for the warehouse.
- Ensure that emergency orders are delivered within expected timeframes.
- Complete and process all required logs, database and driver paperwork.
- Assist Logistics Supervisor or Logistics Manager in several areas, such as QC for driver administration, payroll, etc.
- Assist with accident and incident reports, as required.
- Other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years previous Dispatch experience
- Education in Supply Chain / Logistics an asset
- Knowledge in MS Office
