Our client, in the automotive industry is seeking to hire Production Associates
Location: Windsor, ON
Start Date: ASAP
Wage: $18.60/hour + 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
Operate presses and other manual machining equipment
Load and offload parts, perform visual inspection
Using hand grinders and trimming tools to remove defects and splays
Measuring ( tape measure reading)
Heavier lifting (at some locations)
Assembly
Record part inventory and scrap
Set parts for packing and keeping an accurate count
Requirements:
Grade 12 completion (be able to provide proof)
Must be able to work full time and overtime shifts, no students
Must be able to pass a police clearance
Ability to lift 50 lbs.+
Ability to stand for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching and climbing
Attention to detail
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to work shift work and overtime as required including Saturdays
