Job description
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for inputting customer orders, completing paperwork processes in their department and maintaining showroom stock. We are looking for a reliable candidate that can work in a fast paced environment and is proficient in computer data entry. Familiarity and product knowledge in the construction industry is preferred.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Input customer orders and returns in compliance with store procedure
- Work as a part of a team to ensure smooth operation with other departments
- Be friendly, courteous and helpful to all customers and staff
- Handle customer inquires and complaints
- Complete purchase orders when necessary
- Keep merchandise displays stocked and attractive
- Acquire product knowledge
- Maintain product price point and identify stock discrepancies
- Be fully knowledgeable about company policy and procedures
- Attend all training courses requested by management in relation to store procedures, safety, products, etc.
