Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Handle food ingredients properly, including storage, portioning, and handling
- Support serving staff as needed during busy service hours
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or restaurant settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and meal assembly techniques
- Previous experience in food service or related roles is a plus
