Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lunch Break time cover shifts PT ECE/ITE to support early childhood education programs. This role involves assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children, including those with special needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for working with children. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of young learners while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.
Duties
- Support classroom activities and lesson plans under the supervision of lead teachers
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans for children with disabilities or special needs
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff regarding daily activities and individual needs
- Assist with documentation, writing reports, and maintaining records related to children's progress
- Support inclusive classroom practices by working closely with children from diverse backgrounds
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Skills
- Proficiency in English
- Experience working with children, including classroom or childcare settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and special education strategies
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Writing skills for accurate record keeping and reporting
- Compassionate attitude towards children with disabilities or special needs
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
