Hyatt Place Windsor is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As we prepare for our grand opening, we seek enthusiastic individuals ready to contribute to both the initial setup and ongoing operations of our stunning new hotel.
About the Role:
This role involves performing regular housekeeping duties, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, creating an exceptional experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Housekeeping:
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock guest room supplies.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, and sinks.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust all areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks within strict timeframes
- Time to time work in laundry or as a house person
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods
- Able to clean guest rooms within the brand standard guidelines and timeframes
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Additional Information:
This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, speed, and attention to detail. Candidates must be comfortable performing manual labor throughout their shift.
