The Maintenance Technician works within a multidisciplinary team to perform basic maintenance, and repairs related to various Cool Aid buildings, suites, grounds, and equipment. The Maintenance Technician ensures that Society properties are properly maintained and conducts routine inspections. The Maintenance Technician position involves working closely with clients in occupied and unoccupied rooms, as well as common areas, often working alone.
Qualifications
Education

Grade 10, plus related vocational training such as a building maintenance course.
Experience
-
Two (2) years recent related experience.

Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Requirements

Successful completion of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.

Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract.
Job Information

Hourly Wage Rate: $29.17 - $33.49. .

Plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation and stat time.

Work Locations: Various.

Work Days & Shift Times As needed and dependent on your availability. Most shifts are 8 hours in length, scheduled between Monday and Friday, and between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
