We are recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses to add to a client- specific team of nurses supporting a pediatric client with medical needs in the Victoria or Saanich areas. This job will entail providing 1:1 care accompanying the client to their public school from home. Specialty training course is provided if specialty skills are required. Depending on the client you are assigned to some common nursing tasks include: medication administration, G-tube feeds, specialized skills (Bi-Pap, CPAP, trach, central lines, or oxygen), mobility assistance with mobility aids, assessments, and personal care.

A 1-day sponsored training course will be provided to the successful applicant(s), if the child requires specialized skills. This training takes place in Vancouver at BC Children's Hospital (costs associated with travel will be covered).
Note: we are not a travelling nurse company so do not offer housing.
Qualifications:
- Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
- Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification or better
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
