ROLE SUMMARY
We're seeking security professionals in the Truro, NS area to join our team immediately. As a security guard, you will:
- Control access to sites and monitor entry/exit points
- Conduct regular patrols
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and premises
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent our company professionally
- Maintain compliance with provincial and federal regulations
- Monitor client traffic and identify high-risk individuals
- Take appropriate action to deter individuals involved in disruptive behavior
- Undertake site-specific training and follow supervisor directions
- Keep accurate records and complete detailed incident reports
- Perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle access (travel throughout the province may be required)
- At least 19 years of age
- Smart phone with voice, text and data
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Previous security experience preferred
- Clean criminal record
Schedule
- Shifts include day, night, and on-call rotations
