Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a solid background in accounting software and financial analysis to contribute to our company's financial health and operational efficiency. Experience with systems such as Workday, QuickBooks, ADP, Kronos, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and UltiPro is highly desirable.
Duties
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders using various accounting software including Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payable transactions
- Manage data entry related to accounts payable activities with precision and attention to detail
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support overall financial operations
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain organized records of all transactions in compliance with company policies
- Support payroll processing activities through systems such as ADP, Ceridian, Kronos, and UltiPro
- Collaborate with the human resources team on HRIS data entry and related functions
- Conduct analysis of accounts payable data to identify trends or issues requiring attention
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Skills
- Proficiency with accounting software including Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, UltiPro, and HRIS systems such as Kronos or ADP
- Strong bookkeeping skills and experience with account reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and payroll processing procedures
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy standards
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines
- Strong understanding of human resources processes related to payroll and employee data management
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and resolving vendor inquiries

Pay: $82,281.19-$98,261.17 per year
