Job Overview
Seeking someone with previous vintage store and vintage picking experience to join our growing team. We have two busy retail locations in Vancouver and are looking for a full or part time team member to join our team. Opportunity for growth with the right fit. Previous experience and an eager attitude a must. Ideal candidate will do both vintage picking and retail store shifts. Must have the ability to multitask and work well with a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers and stylists with product selection, providing assistance when needed if customers are looking for items for special events
- Confidence in helping customers find what they're looking for required
- Knowledge of various decades of clothing required, an interest in fashion, designer clothing and style a must
- Previous experience with vintage picking in a clothing recycling factory required if applying for vintage picker position
- Process transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including merchandising displays and storage areas
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, completing tasks without being asked and forseeing what needs to be done
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly and customer needs are met
- Previous retail sales experience required, preferably in a vintage store setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage time effectively while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
