Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and leadership skills, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and maintaining equipment in optimal working condition.
Duties
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Fabricate parts and components as needed to support maintenance operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, including HVAC and electrical systems, to identify potential issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the maintenance department.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
