About the Role:
We’re looking for a Sr. HCM Project Manager (Hospital - Contract) to lead an enterprise HCM revitalization project at a Canadian hospital. This role is best suited for a senior PM who has led professional SME and project teams across a large enterprise IT initiative.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a team of SMEs and PMs to deliver complex work against aggressive timelines
- Establish and hold people to project governance, collaboration and communication expectations
- Build a robust project plan together with the customer's SMEs and leadership
- Own the project plan, budget and deliverables using our PPM system
- Partner with vendor supports across HCM, Scheduling, Payroll and IT/Systems
- Ensure project outcomes meet business and compliance goals
- Manage complex stakeholders relationships and build trust and collaboration
- Lead Steering Committee meetings related to the project status & risks
What You Bring:
- PMP certification
- 5+ years of Canadian hospital PM experience with HCM, Timekeeping, Scheduling and Payroll
- Strong understanding of Canadian hospital union agreements
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel to site 2 days a week
- Strong communication, empathy and relationship building skills - yet direct and no-nonsense when it comes to enforcing governance and project task performance
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE HOSPITAL HCM PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in IT project management with a strong understanding of hybrid project management methodologies (agile and waterfall)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining a positive attitude towards challenges
