You will have access to a huge selection of manufacturers specializing in all types of window coverings and accessories including blinds, shutters, draperies, roman shades, pillows and more. The work is varied and rewarding from personal in-home consultations, going after local commercial bids on upcoming projects and attending networking events and celebrations within our communities.
Product training will be provided however, we will give preference to those with previous experience home staging, decorating or interior design. We're looking for someone who is...

Make no mistake, this job is not easy. It requires a great deal of motivation and hard work but the culture of our team is fun and upbeat. We work as a team and we enjoy doing it. We strive to provide the highest level of customer service for our clients.
Unlike most sales jobs, there is far less "cold calling" due to the number of repeat and referral clients we get as well as our recognition within the community and years building our great reputation. We also have a marketing wizard that drives leads in for us. However, grassroots marketing efforts on your part is fully expected in this position as well as a huge push to increase our commercial business. This is not a desk job by any means.
We're looking for someone that wants to be a leader and stand out in their community. Someone that takes pride in what they do and is willing to go that extra mile to build their brand and name through exceptional customer service.
All of your appointments will be between the Cowichan Valley and Courtenay. We have showrooms in Ladysmith and another in Courtenay, one of these will be your home base. Where the successful candidate lives will better dictate the areas they will service.
***This part time position offers a base salary of $35k per year PLUS bi weekly % commissions and potential for a discretionary quarterly bonus based on your meeting all performance targets set out for you. Typical part-time earnings and expectations for this role are $60-90k+ per year once trained and out selling independently...but that is all YOU driven. Do you have what it takes?
