DHL Express currently has an opening for a Casual Driver in Ottawa, ON.

Location: Ottawa, ON
Position: Driver
Hours: Casual, shifts may be scheduled between Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm
Wage: $23.33/hour and will increase as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to drive a van
-
Ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70 lbs per piece, throughout shift.

Demonstrated ability to work with customers
-
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Complete assigned deliveries and pick ups and/or other tasks assigned by supervisor

Meet security requirements

Other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor.

Scan and process freight as per agreed procedures and Security Policies

Move freight within the warehouse area as per requirements
-
Accurately sort & process, by deadlines, in-bound material.

Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands, etc.

Perform accurate reporting
-
Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area.

Participate in maintaining a safe and co-opeative work environment
