The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to Fund Development & Events and Community Engagement.
Position Summary
This role plays an important part in supporting Fund Development & Events and Community Engagement. Some of the main responsibilities of this role include assisting with maintaining donor databases; assisting with generating and recording correspondence and receipts to donors; assisting with the coordination of AARC events; assisting with planning and running of AARC events; design of mailouts, fundraising campaigns and community engagement outreach materials; assisting with volunteer coordination for AARC events and community engagement events; assisting with preparation of agendas and minutes for various event and community engagement committees; reception coverage as needed.
Qualification Requirements
One to three years previous experience in an administrative role.
Strong organization ability, planning skills, able to work well under pressure, ability to prioritize, attention to detail.
Experience with design software (Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.
Experience with CRM and database software is preferred.
