Job Summary: The Building Operator will work collaboratively with the Facilities Team and the Project Management Office to maintain and operate the building equipment and facility, in a fast paced, high performance environment.

This is a full-time position. Working hours include Monday through Friday 3:30pm to 1:30am OR Friday through Sunday 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Responsibilities:
Manage maintenance priorities, projects and specific repairs daily
Manage and direct contractors within the facility
Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
Adherence to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure that the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) components operate and maintains to the company standards and needs
Use a Computerized Maintenance and Management System (CMMS) to complete work order request and scheduled maintenance.
Manage inventory of equipment and facility supplies in conjunction with Inventory Analyst/Finance
Regular monitoring of BAS (Building Automation System) and maintenance of boilers, water systems, pumps, chillers, heaters, A/C, air handlers roof top units and CO systems.
Production and Lab equipment maintenance
Fire alarm monitoring and life safety system maintenance
Other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in Facilities Maintenance
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in pharmaceutical or clean room space environment
Competent project management skills
Strong problem-solving skills organized and detail oriented
Good knowledge in BAS (Building Automation System)
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
