Job Title:
Mechanical Technologist / Assembler
QuantumPak is a world-class manufacturer of continuous band sealers. QuantumPak also provides custom engineered solutions for various bagging applications and is a turn-key provider for packaging equipment.
Job Duties
- Assembling and testing all manufactured products before being shipped to the customer.
- Reading and following basic diagrams, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished products
- Completing daily reports to indicate goods that have been shipped and to identify late orders
- Assemble bag sealing equipment, including electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Set up and troubleshoot ancillary equipment used with bag sealing equipment.
- Troubleshooting Quatumpak bag sealers remotely or on-site.
- Other duties as assigned by the plant supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Technology and Technician program graduate/student.
- Must be able to read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Good practical sense working with and troubleshooting equipment problems.
- Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD knowledge is an asset.
- Industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience is an asset.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
