Flamboro Technical Services is a family owned and operated business that has been in business for over 30 years. We are a full-service metal fabrication shop located in Millgrove, ON. We are looking for a full time stainless steel TIG/MIG welder & fabricator to join our team and help us to continue to grow and provide our customers with the best products possible.

Responsibilities
- Read FTS and Customer supplied drawings and follow routed steps to complete jobs.
- Collect all required parts and materials to complete the task.
- Use fabrication equipment to prepare parts for welding. (Shear, brake press, drill presses, tapping head, band saw, etc.)
- Fit parts together and have parts checked by QC.
- Weld parts together as per the router and drawing package.
- Remove discoloration or grind and polish out welds to a sanitary finish as required by application.
- Bring parts to QC to have the final inspection completed.
- Flexibility to work on-site at customer locations for installs and repairs when required is an asset.
- Must have reliable transportation (no public transit available)
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager or supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications ·
- 2 years experience in TIG welding different products and materials. (304 Stainless predominately)
- 2 years experience with MIG welding. (304 stainless predominately)
- Experience with sanitary polishing of welds preferred.
- Purge welding of weldments and tubing/piping a strong asset.
- Basic pipe fitting skills.
- Basic rigging experience
- Weldment assembly
- Ability and experience with both thick (up to 4” plate) and thin (up to 18ga) stainless steel weldments
- Must possess a good understanding of welding procedures and stainless distortion (pre/post weld clamping & heating) to eliminate product warping.
- Must have your own basic welding & hand tools.
