Underground Construction Supervisor – Underground Water Management Program
Civiltek Limited is currently seeking an experienced Underground Construction Supervisor to join our team for an Underground Water Management Program at a mine site near Kirkland Lake, Ontario.
This is a rotational shift-work position (14-on/14-off) at a remote mine site. We are hiring candidates based in Sudbury and throughout Northern Ontario, and will consider applicants located within approximately 200 km of Kirkland Lake.
The successful candidate will provide direct supervision of underground crews involved in the installation of critical water management infrastructure, including the installation of two Sturda Weirs. This role is responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and production schedules.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily underground construction activities and crew assignments
- Lead crews involved in underground water management and infrastructure installation projects
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, safety talks, and workplace inspections
- Monitor productivity and provide direction to maintain project milestones
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards while ensuring compliance with all site safety procedures and mining regulations
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors as required
- Maintain daily reports, shift reports, safety documentation, and project records
- Communicate effectively with project management, client representatives, and site personnel
- Mentor and support crew members to promote a strong safety and performance culture
Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising underground mining or underground construction crews
- Valid Underground Ontario Common Core modules required
- Strong understanding of underground construction, mine services, or rehabilitation projects
- Supervisor tickets
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work rotational shifts and travel to remote project sites
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
- Underground water management systems
- Mine development and rehabilitation projects
- Underground concrete and rebar installations
- Industrial construction within mining environments

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour
