Responsibility- Create/open employee files
- Make necessary changes in the Payroll system to keep the information up to date (Paye, Benefits, work accidents, disability, etc.)
- Ensure the application and compliance with internal policies
- Produce various metrics as well as monthly/annual reports, etc.
- Calculate and adjust the vacation bank as well as sick days entitlement, etc.
- Ensure reconciliation between collective insurance bills and our payroll system
- Manage various ad hoc projects in relation with payroll
- Collaborate with vendors for ongoing support and issues management
- Participate in bi-weekly payroll processing in collaboration with the payroll leader
- Act as a resource person for leaders for topics in connection with payroll and Benefits
- Support the HR team on various projects and events
Requirements- College or technical diploma in a relevant field;
- Have a minimum of one (2) year of experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of the ADP payroll system or other similar payroll software an asset;
- Sense of customer service;
- Sense of organization and autonomy;
- Ability to establish relationships of trust with employees and managers while demonstrating high standards regarding compliance with internal rules and labor standards
- Ability to lead and coordinate several files at once
- Bilingualism both oral and written (English / French)
