Welch LLP is currently looking for a Receptionist to provide reception, switchboard, and administrative support to all Partners, Principals, Managers, and staff of the Ottawa Office of Welch LLP.

Duties and Responsibilities
Answering telephone calls and directing callers to appropriate staff members
Greeting guest in a pleasant and enthusiastic manner
Assisting in the arrangement of meetings for Partners, Principals, Managers, staff, committees, clients, etc.
Coordinating and ordering office supplies as needed
Typing and transcribing daily correspondence
Answering general telephone inquiries and screening calls
Operating office equipment: computers, fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, calculator
Ensuring employees at work sign in and out of the office
Arranging courier pickup and delivery
Coordinating delivery of packages either by hand or by courier
Maintaining the reception area, boardrooms, and server area, including keeping them tidy and locking specified areas at the end of the day
Providing administrative support to all Partners, Principals, Managers and Administrative Supervisors
Backup Administrative support for Business Development team
Various other reception/administrative tasks, as needed
A minimum completion of secondary school
A minimum of 1-2 years of switchboard/reception experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French would be considered a strong asset
Able to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment
Excellent typing skills
A team player who is reliable and dependable
