We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage residential construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction crews.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Manage project schedules and adjust as needed to address delays or issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
· Set an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in residential construction supervision, including experience with front garage homes, duplexes, laned homes, and row homes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management is an asset.
