The purpose of this position is to compliment the Property Management team by supervising the daily operations of security and concierge services for the assigned portfolio of luxury properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all residents and guests, while supporting a team of security personnel and concierge staff. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, team leadership, and maintaining a secure living environment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Structuring schedules, rounds, and staffing levels to satisfy portfolio needs.
- Oversee the concierge team, ensuring high-quality service for residents, including assistance with deliveries, guest management, reservations, and other personal services.
- Oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) for concierge services to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Implement security protocols to ensure the safety of the property, residents, and visitors.
- Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Schedule and maintain comprehensive fire and life safety plans, ensuring compliance with local regulations and promoting resident safety.
- Collaborate with property management to ensure smooth operations and communication with residents.
- Oversee third party contract service agreements and budgets.
- Properly allocate and manage approved budget.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education.
- Proven experience in management, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with security technology and systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems), an asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
- Customer-service-oriented with a focus on delivering a high level of resident satisfaction.
- Knowledge of local safety regulations and compliance requirements.
