Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Renovator to join our team and bring transformative improvements to residential and commercial spaces. As a Renovator, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of renovation projects, from minor repairs to major restorations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute renovation plans.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively for demolition, framing, finishing, and installation tasks.
- Perform carpentry work including cabinet installation, framing, and custom woodwork to meet project specifications.
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to reinforce structures or create new surfaces.
- Install flooring, tiles, drywall, and other surface materials with precision for a polished finish.
- Apply construction painting, caulking, electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding techniques to complete various renovation components.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or excavators when required for site preparation or material handling.
- Estimate project costs using construction estimating skills to ensure budget adherence while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in renovation or remodeling projects.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of diverse trades including carpentry, masonry, electrical systems, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise execution of tasks.
- Prior experience in restoration projects or concrete finishing is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
