Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Autobody Repair Estimator to join our reputable auto repair team. The ideal candidate will possess strong autobody knowledge and excellent customer service skills. This role involves accurately assessing vehicle damages, providing repair estimates, and guiding customers through the repair process with professionalism and integrity. The Autobody Repair Estimator plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting the shop’s operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine repair needs
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and costs
- Collaborate with technicians and parts departments to facilitate timely repairs
- Upsell additional services or repairs when appropriate, enhancing customer value and shop revenue
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely
- Maintain organized records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the repair process
Experience
- Experience as an autobody repair estimator is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and industry standards
- Experience with automotive estimating software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly

Pay: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
