Edgewater Industrial Services is a rapidly growing, progressive company employing Electricians and Pipefitters. We are currently hiring Industrial Electricians for regular scheduled maintenance work in Sault Ste. Marie in Northwestern Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot independently
- Maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including, but not limited to: Cranes (AC/DC), Motors (AC/DC), Process Instruments, Variable Frequency Drives (up to 400HP), Programable Logic Control (SCADA&DSC)
- Follow Preventative Maintenance Programs
- Work with other trades to diagnose and fix electrical/mechanical faults
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Competent with maintaining electric AC & DC motors
- Proficient with electrical diagnostic tools
- Experienced with low voltage systems
- Strong instrumentation troubleshooting skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
- Good attention to managing logbooks and maintenance records
Experience:
- Industrial Electrical Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
- Instrumentation preferred
License/Certification
- 442A, or experienced apprentice
Details:
- $47.06 per hour
- 2 years duration minimum
- $2700 per month LOA provided
