About the Role
Magic Windows & Doors is looking for an organized and technically minded Installation Coordinator to join our Installation Department and work closely with our Installation Manager.
This is not a general administrative position. We're looking for someone who has previous exposure to windows and doors and already understands the basics of how residential projects work.
You don't need to be an installer, but knowing the difference between a brickmould, jamb, frame, rough opening, capping, and other common construction terminology will allow you to get up to speed quickly.
You'll help coordinate installation projects, communicate with customers and installers, update our CRM, review project information, and support the Installation Manager with the day-to-day operation of a busy installation department.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with the Installation Manager to coordinate residential window and door projects
- Communicate with customers regarding installation scheduling, project details, and updates
- Review customer files, contracts, measurements, and installation notes
- Update project information, notes, appointments, and statuses in our CRM
- Confirm that required project information is complete before installation
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Service, and other departments
- Follow up with customers and installers when additional information is required
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for active installation projects
- Assist the Installation Manager with the day-to-day organization of the department
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in windows & doors, construction, renovations, building materials, or a related home-improvement industry
- Familiarity with basic construction and installation terminology
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn CRM and scheduling systems quickly
- Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple projects, customers, and priorities at the same time
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
