Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and exhibit exceptional leadership qualities. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu planning.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices within the kitchen.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
