We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator to join the dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various metals to create durable components and structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure materials accurately with calipers and basic math skills to ensure precise cuts and welds.
- Assist with rigging, assembly, and installation of fabricated parts on-site or in the shop.
- Operate forklifts and crane equipment as needed for material handling and positioning.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes, maintaining high quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding; experience with TIG welding is a plus.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, ductwork, or similar industries.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and basic math calculations.
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and crane operation for lifting heavy materials safely.
- Experience with machining processes and using calipers for precise measurements.
- Ability to interpret schematics and assembly instructions accurately.
- Prior construction experience or manufacturing background is highly desirable.
- Certification or experience in forklift operation is preferred but not required.
