All About Care is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for our clients throughout the city of Calgary. Specficically looking for support Tuesday afternoons 1-5pm to take a client who is Tube Fed on outings.
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and grooming
- Provide support with mobility and transfer assistance; assist clients with mobility aids
- Offer companionship and engage in friendly conversations to enhance the client's well-being
- Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with medications and nursing interventions within your LPN scope
- Ensure the overall comfort and safety of the client during your visits
Requirements:
- LPN License (MUST be actively registered with the CLHA)
- Previous experience working with seniors, especially those with dementia
- Must have your Class 5 License and own vehicle for transportation
- Flexible availability
- Weekend availability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
