Part-Time Supervised Implementor
Location: Bolton, ON (Supporting clients in Bolton; part of our Woodbridge Centre team)
Setting: Client’s home
Hours: 10–15 hours per week
Availability Required: Morning availability
Position Summary
Reporting to a Supervised Senior Implementor, the Part-Time Supervised Implementor is responsible for implementing individualized goals, objectives, and priorities established for learners, as well as collecting and reporting data related to their programs.
This position will take place in a client’s home in Bolton, ON, and requires previous experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Experience supporting learners with challenging behaviour and/or experience with Skill-Based Treatment/SBT is considered a strong asset.
Major Duties/Responsibilities
The Part-Time Supervised Implementor will be responsible for:
- Working one-on-one with learners to implement individualized behaviour programming developed by the Supervised Senior Implementor
- Implementing individualized goals, behaviour support strategies, and Behaviour Management Plans
- Supporting learners up to 18 years of age
- Collecting, recording, and reporting daily data
- Monitoring learner progress and communicating updates to the Supervised Senior Implementor
- Preparing daily program materials as needed
- Providing updates to parents/guardians, as appropriate
- Supporting learner self-care and daily living skills when required
- Engaging in developmentally appropriate play, teaching opportunities, and skill-building activities
- Maintaining professionalism while working in a family home environment
- This in-home role requires the ability to work independently, respond to changing learner needs, and maintain regular communication with the supervising clinician.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis required
- 1–2 years of ABA experience, in client homes preferred
- Experience supporting children and youth up to 18 years of age
- Experience with individuals on the autism spectrum and/or other developmental disabilities
- Experience with challenging behaviour is preferred
- Experience or familiarity with Skill-Based Treatment/SBT is considered an asset
- Education in a related field, such as Psychology, Autism and Behavioural Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, or a related discipline
- Strong decision-making skills to respond to daily learner needs and challenges
- Ability to collect and interpret data accurately
- Ability to work independently while following clinical direction
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to engage in physical activity/play and move throughout the session as needed
- Ability to function effectively in a changing home-based environment
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation
Position Details
This is a part-time, home-based position located in Bolton, ON. The ideal candidate will have morning availability and prior experience implementing ABA programming with children or youth, particularly learners who may engage in challenging behaviour.
