Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records through filing, scanning, and document management
- Handle administrative duties such as typing correspondence, proofreading documents, and managing mail
- Assist with billing and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
- Support office operations by organizing supplies, managing front desk activities, and supporting other administrative staff
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry applications
- Experience with multi-line phone systems, front desk operations, and customer service roles
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, proofreading, and document management
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Prior experience in medical or dental office environments is advantageous but not required
This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our team by ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering outstanding service to clients and visitors.
Pay: $17.20-$27.69 per hour
