Stolport Corporation is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused, and reliable individuals to join our team as Airport Parking & Ferry Customer Service Agents at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ).
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a dynamic work environment at one of Canada's busiest downtown airports. Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to airport passengers, employees, tenants, and service providers.
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport operates 365 days per year, and this position requires flexibility to work early weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
SHIFT SCHEDULE
Candidates must be available to work:
- 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM
This position requires working in a booth and spending a significant portion of the workday outdoors in various weather conditions assisting customers and operations.
POSITION SUMMARY
Airport Parking & Ferry Customer Service Agents are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of airport parking, airport ferry access, valet services, and auto detailing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Operations
- Greet and assist airport passengers, visitors, employees, and service providers.
- Provide parking information, directions, and guidance to guests upon arrival and departure.
- Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, airport personnel, and security staff via radio, telephone, and email.
- Ensure compliance with all airport safety, security, and operational procedures.
Parking & Ferry Operations
- Control and monitor access to airport parking facilities and ferry services.
- Coordinate access permissions in conjunction with Airport Security and Operations personnel.
- Process parking transactions using point-of-sale systems, cash floats, and payment terminals.
- Complete daily balancing and shift reporting procedures accurately.
- Monitor parking occupancy levels and maintain accurate lot counts.
Valet & Vehicle Services
- Process customers utilizing valet parking and vehicle detailing services.
- Safely drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles as part of Stolport's valet operation.
- Assist with vehicle detailing and cleaning services as required.
- Maintain high standards of care and professionalism when handling customer vehicles.
Facility Maintenance
- Maintain parking equipment, kiosks, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with parking lot maintenance, including litter collection, snow removal support, and reporting maintenance concerns.
- Help ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all airport users.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid unrestricted Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract and ability to meet Stolport’s vehicle insurance requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and ease of learning new software applications).
- Ability to handle cash transactions, basic calculations, and paperwork accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and ideally also in basic French (all Airports must comply with the Official Languages Act)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
