We are looking for a Full-time Commercial Analyst to join the Marketing Team (IV Drugs).

The Impact You Will Make:
Use data to identify compelling insights that influence business strategy.
Work collaboratively with Finance, Marketing, and Sales to provide insight and update annual forecasts, budgets in addition to the long range plan
Maintain up to date analysis of market share and other key metrics for product skus and families
Prepare and present monthly analysis on sales performance identifying risks and opportunities by product family, region, territory and customer
Identify and implement new database strategies to support business needs and objectives
Review sales vs. forecast volumes to identify and mitigate potential risks due to changes in market demand
Monitor contract compliance and complete ad-hoc analysis and projects
Manage contract model and impact of new bids and awards in the live forecast
Contribute to pricing strategy by providing market intel and analysis of previous price decisions/outcomes
Act as project member/lead on commercial projects contributing to growth in portfolios and products as well as strategic initiatives
Using sales reports from wholesalers and internal sales database identifies opportunities in the market for off contract sales

The education and experience. Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of progressive experience working in a contract/analyst role in a pharmaceutical/healtcare environment with a solid understanding of the Canadian hospital market
Exceptional organizational and time management skills. You are highly-detailed, and you can shift focus from one priority to another while maintaining accuracy. You can manage a high volume of work and balance multiple activities, prioritizing requests and projects, for stakeholders of all levels of the organization.
The communication & presentation skills. You have excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to provide training and create reports and presentations. You have the ability to build strong storytelling presentations that deliver a consistent and concise message to an audience
The drive. You have proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with a willingness to dig into details and a commitment to improving processes; and a demonstrated ability to analyse complex data and contract documents.
The technical experience. You are technologically savvy and are comfortable working in a data driven environment; specifically working with Excel (formulas, pivot tables etc.). You also have some experience or exposure working with SAP and Salesforce.com
