Location: Springfield Collegiate, Oakbank, MB
Effective Date: to start August 17, 2026
1.0 FTE - 8 hours per shift (hours to be determined, Monday to Friday, 12 months/year)
Responsibilities
- Maintain school grounds, buildings, equipment and furnishings
- Perform major cleaning duties during Christmas and Summer breaks
- Must follow all fire prevention and safety regulations
- Operate cleaning equipment as required
- Ordering of supplies and materials through the Head Custodian
- Other related duties as may be assigned by the Head Custodian
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Familiarity with the requirements of the W.H.M.I.S. regulations
- Good communication skills, and be able to interact with students, staff, and the general public in a friendly and courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Salary
- as per CUPE 5097 Collective Agreement
