As a growing Canadian manufacturer with five facilities across Ontario, we're looking for a Quality Technician to join our team and help ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and our customers to maintain quality systems, investigate issues, support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive operational excellence. What You'll Do
- Manage the calibration program to ensure measuring and testing equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with company requirements.
- Investigate customer quality concerns and support corrective actions to achieve timely and effective resolutions.
- Complete process audits, dock audits and facility inspections while documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring quality issues.
- Coordinate and maintain the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) system.
- Review customer drawings and specifications to ensure production requirements are clearly understood and communicated.
- Perform mechanical testing on aluminum profiles and prepare Certificates of Conformance (COCs) and other quality documentation.
- Verify that production activities comply with quality procedures, customer specifications and company standards.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, production trials and process validation activities.
- Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing quality, quality assurance or quality control role.
- Experience with inspections, measurement equipment, audits and non-conformance processes.
- Knowledge of quality systems, including ISO 9001/IATF 16949 or similar manufacturing standards.
- Experience with PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Occupational Health & Safety programs is considered an asset.
