About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Estimator to join our estimating team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn the estimating process from the ground up. You will work alongside our Senior Estimator and Chief Estimator, gaining hands-on experience with commercial and residential project estimating in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with analyzing drawings and specifications under the guidance of senior staff
- Prepare quantity take-offs with a focus on accuracy and completeness
- Support the assembly of estimates and proposals for commercial and residential projects
- Attend site meetings as required to support the estimating team
- Assist in coordinating material and equipment procurement for projects
- Maintain organized project files and estimating records
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator or Senior Estimator
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in estimating, construction, or a related role (co-op or internship experience is an asset)
- Basic ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Proficiency with Planswift, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Eagerness to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $42,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
