Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and perform safeties on used vehicles
- Service engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, fuel systems, and drive components
- Perform safety inspections, road tests, and tune-ups
- Read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic equipment effectively
- Maintain clean, organized work area and shop tools
- Communicate repair needs and estimates clearly to service advisors and customers
- Keep accurate service records and follow warranty procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid Automotive technician license/certification 310S
- 2+ years’ hands-on automotive mechanical experience (dealership or independent shop preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Own basic tools; familiarity with diagnostic scanners and specialty tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and good customer communication
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical shop duties
