What You'll Do
Reporting directly to the President, you will:
- Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing performance analysis
- Develop key business metrics and management reporting
- Partner with operations and leadership to improve business performance
- Lead financial planning and support strategic decision-making
- Oversee Human Resources policies, recruitment coordination, compensation, employee relations, and health & safety administration
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on financial and people-related matters
What We're Looking For
Required
- CPA designation
- 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
- Strong manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls
- Experience leading finance and administrative functions
- Human Resources experience or oversight responsibilities
- Strong ERP and Microsoft 365 skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Agricultural, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution experience
- Lean or continuous improvement exposure
- Experience supporting privately held entrepreneurial businesses
- Interest in contributing beyond traditional accounting responsibilities
