Position Summary
As the Shipper/Receiver, the individual will be required to efficiently check, pick, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store and effectively dispatch delivery drivers. The individual will be required to reliably deliver auto parts to our valued customers. They will be required to answer internal and external telephone calls and complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)

Help control inventory and ensure product availability

Coordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles

Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
-
Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
-
Efficiently and correctly complete deliveries being mindful of customer preferences
-
Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
-
Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)

When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner

Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
Key Requirements

A valid G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year driver’s abstract required

Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
-
Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)

Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and stock maintenance experience an asset

Driver dispatching experience as asset
