To support our growth, we are looking for a Director Retail Sales - Ontario & Atlantic Canada.
Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, the position will be responsible for Bonduelle Retail Sales in the Ontario and Atlantic Regions. Scope includes oversight of Sobeys, Walmart and Giant Tiger National Accounts. Must ensure steady, profitable growth through good client relationships, sales planning, sales execution and leadership of Account Managers, as well as implementing sales objectives and Bonduelle strategies and action plans.
Mains responsibilities :
Develop and execute sales action plans related to scope, perform sales activities and cultivate relationships with clients.
Keep current with supply and demand, changing retail trends, economic indicators, competitors, technology and personal networks.
Implement Bonduelle marketing initiatives, analyze trends and sales results to ensure sales growth.
Negotiate National and Regional Sales and marketing agreements.
Manage a team (3 account managers, 1 business Analyst and 1 sales coordinator) and allocate resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
Collaborate extensively with other Sales Directors, with Marketing team, Customer Service, logistics, Operations and Administrative departments.
Seek out new customers and new opportunities with existing customers in order to meet growth objectives.
Review and negotiate as necessary customer deductions, promotional programs and price changes.
Knowledge and experience in retail FMCG/CPG sales ideally in the food industry, private label and branded.
Negotiation, designing and managing processes training and team coaching /development.
A university degree is preferred, or a minimum of five years of related sales experience.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills,
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team,
Experience in developing sales strategies,
Strong oral and written skills: French language is an asset.
